Fortunately, the FlipShare installer places both FlipShare and the 3ivx decoding software on your hard drive. PCs and Macs need this software to view and edit the Ultra's footage. The Flip Minos, UltraSD, and UltraHD use H.264 video encoding, which is supported natively by both computer platforms, so 3ivx isn't necessary for these cameras. The camera software (Flipshare) is not anymore available (end of life policy Cisco). I used tot have a setup exe file on my harddisk, but because I had a computercrash I cannot access the setup exe file anymore.del: Searching on the internet, I can not find the right (free) downloadable Flipshare software.
